DeaditorAragorn and Brego is a really decent horse and rider figure set. As much as I’m not a fan of rubber legs it doesn’t really matter too much with this one and he comes with a cool overcoat softgoods and Elven cape as well. The coat only covers the torso it’s not got sleeves but looks fine. And u til recently I believed this figure had the best likeness for this character. The articulation is a bit basic and the left arm especially having a single elbow joint and shoulder swivel likely due to the action feature button for a chopping attack. He doesn’t come with a dagger on his belt which means you would have to add one on. Brego is designed really well and looks the part. As typical with all the Toybiz horses Brego has a rubber head to allow movement to look natural and has the trotting feet...[

Mr-XI think I know why we get so many repackages: Toybiz doesn’t sell enough of that figure or they just don’t like us.
With this guy is 50/50. Like Grishnak (ya its not spelled right) he originally came in a combo pack with a hobbit, here he comes again. He comes with two weapons, a whip and an Uruk sword. The button lever on his back makes both arms flail up and down, supposedly making him look like he’s swinging both weapons in different hands. To me, he just looks like an idiot when he does it. The other crappy thing about him is the head. He’s an Uruk not a demon, why make him look possessed?
Paintjob looks fine for an Uruk though. Skins blood red while his armor is the typical black color. Whip is brown while the sword is black. The hair is oddly blonde, why this is far dumbfounds...[

Mr-XWhy do companies insist upon repacking everything and calling it something different. Here’s yet another example. The first time this figure came out it was with a hobbit, now here we have the EXACT figure but by itself. Standing at about 5 and a half inches, this guy is shorter then most other characters, mostly because his sculpt has him hunched. He comes with one weapon, a sword, no sheath. He also has the overused lever on his back, left arm goes up then comes back down.
Most of his body is encased in black armor. The only exception to this being his head which is a bright orange. Don’t know about everyone else but I think an orange orc is a bit out there.
Movement stays true, being present in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees and feet.
An ok figure, my only...[

Berserker Uruk-HaiLord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 5

Mr-XOh boy just what we need, a giant angry killing machine with a sharp weapon.
Standing at about 6 inches, the Berserker Uruk is a killing machine. This simple but great figure is a good addition to any collection. He comes with one weapon, his spear/sword. He also comes with a lever on his back that when pulled makes both his arms go up then down to make it look like hes taking swings at some enemy.
Paint job is really simple. His entire body is basically a blood red color. Helmet is silver with a white hand print over it. His shoes, gloves and pant thing is also silver/black
Articulation is still the same, head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs and knees.
A simple but cool killing machine lol

Mr-XEomer, the banished nephew of King Theoden of Rohan.
Heres an example of what could have been a great character but got a bit screwed up in the works. Don't get me wrong, hes a good figure but he could have been much better. First off, he comes with two items, a sword and a helmet. The helmet fits well and the sword fits nicely into both his hand and in the sheath. Now whats wrong with all of this you may ask? Well ill tell you. First off, his mouth. Now I know hes a warrior and all but come on, who looks like that even in battle?!? He looks like hes in a yoddling competition. Second off is his sculpt. Someone had the great idea of making him in some kind of battle position, it didn't work. It looks like hes squatting forward but not as a whole squat, kinda like hes trying to tell...[

Legolas (Rohan Armor)Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 1

Mr-XLegolas, the elven archer of the Fellowship.
Here is another great character remade again but this time even better. Standing at 6 inches tall, Legolas features his Rohan armor, worn during the battle of Helms Deep. Why its called armor I don't know, all hes got on armor wise is two shoulder pads. Our Elf comes loaded with weapons. He features a bow, three arrows, two elven knives and sheaths and a sword with sheath. He also comes with a Uruk shield that has wheels so we can re-create the scene where he surfs down steps on a shield, jumps off and kicks the shield into a passing orcs neck.
As much as Toybiz would call it a different figure, hes wearing his normal elven clothes, which are grey and green. The only new pieces of clothing are his rust brown shoulder pads, armor straps and a...[

Mr-XGandalf the White, the higher form of Gandalf the Grey
This is definitely a quality LOTR figure. One of the few figures that is an EXACT replica of his movie counterpart. He comes equipped with two weapons, his staff(which is very nicely sculpted) and a sword with sheath. He may also have a swinging arm feature(I'm pretty sure he does), mine is buried under all my other LOTR figures lol
His color is exactly what it should be, all white. His hair, clothes and staff are all white and his hair is the right length. His sheath is black while his sword is silver and is made with hard plastic, it doesn't bend and its sturdy. The sheath belt is a brown color.
To top all this off, hes got all the good movement, the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs, knees and feet, all of which allow to...[

Faramir (Sword Weilding)Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 1

Mr-XThe younger brother of Boromir and supposed heir to the throne of Gondor, Faramir was a skilled warrior.
As most basic LOTR figures, Faramir stands at about 6 inches. He bears two weapons, a sword with sheath and a longbow with quiver and several arrows. He also has a special feature, a lever on his back, when pulled this lever causes him to swing his right arm up and down, allowing for sword swining action. Sadly, Faramir is one of those figures whose head looks very little like its movie counterpart. His head looks dumb, like hes lost. His hair is also the wrong color, its to dark while in the movie he had more blonde. The other bad thing is his sword. It comes in his right hand, prepacked. This is a bad thing because his right hand is like a rock, you CANNOT move the thing and the way...[

Mr-XThe Easterling's, a race of evil men who allied themselves with Sauron against the free people of Middle Earth.
Here is one of the coolest LOTR figures ever made in my opinion. He stands 6 inches tall and looks exactly like his movie counterpart. Clad in gold armor, he comes with two items, a spear and a shield. The spear fits nicely into his right hand(the only "holding" hand) while the shield needs a little more work to slip over his open left hand.
Paint job is exactly like his movie counterpart, gold armor, red robes underneath the armor. The shield is gold with brown paint. The spear handle is brown while the blade is silver. His eyes even include the distinctive black marks from the movie!!!
Articulation is the norm, movement at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, thighs and...[

Aragorn (Helm's Deep)Lord of the Rings - Two Towers (Toy Biz) - Series 3

Mr-XFrodo Baggins may have carried the ring to be destroyed but we all know Aragorn aka Strider is one of the biggest reasons he made it as far as he did.
ToyBiz has done a good job with the LOTR toy lines but there have been problems. One of these problems is the fact that several characters are constantly redone for each series. Aragorn is no exception, there are more then 3 versions of him out there. One however, stands above the rest, Helm's Deep Aragorn.
The king of men comes with several neat things. First he comes with his sword and a scabberd, the sword fits in well. The sword itself can be held in any hand but the right is preferred. The reason for this is due to his swinging action. When his legs are squeezed together, he quickly turns to the right and slashes down. He also comes...[
