The good, the bad, and bloody! McFarlane Monsters pulled yet another masterpiece with the Celtic Predator action figure. With the success of recently released movie, AVP, McFarlane got right on the job of creating an awesome toyline, and they did just that. The Celtic Predator is modeled after the same one in AVP. The face is so realistic. He has the sharp appendiges coming out of his face, open mouth-full of teeth, and the Predator dreadlocks. He has armour all over the body and he's got gagdets out the wazoo. Serrated blade, missles,- everything. The sculpt couldn't be better if they tried. WWE figures and rings have never been too "complicated" and this one definintly takes the cake. They sucked me into this one. I was under the belief that the ring actually bounced and what not. I was mislead. Mine came with missing pieces and and stupid instructions. The turnbuckles are loose and the red ropes are like yarn. This stupid thing came with two different stickers, 1 for Raw and 1 for SMACKDOWN!, please people, make up your minds! Warthog (with Master Chief & Marine)

If your not familiar with Halo, you might think I'm review a pig. For all you non-gamers out there a warthog is a lean, mean, alien-decimating machine. A warthog is a futurist humvee/jeep with stationary machine gun on the back. This is possibly one of the best recent-series vehicles out there. The paint job is a soft olive green. The playability of the warthog is through the roof! This thing has rugged wheels that roll smooth, a heavy machine-gun in the back, and makes a picure-perfect diorama. The entire hog is exactly the same as in the game. This vehicle is also good to recreate scenes from any war film or in this case, game. I personaly like to also use mine in playing with my Jurassic Park figures. Anyway, I also reccomend the Marine action figure to buy along with the warthog. This...[See More]

Belloq

Belloq is a perfect figure. It's realistic, detailed, and just plain cool. He looks exactly like the nasty little French man in the film. The head sculpt is A ++ with a great, realistic body sculpt. Frenchy wears a light blue, button down shirt and white pants. I only wish the series was 6 inch, which would be even better. Toht. Oh yeah, the little mean guy! I love the realistic sculpt and clothes. Toht wears the same clothes as in the film- black suit, black cape, and black hat. His face is incredibly realistic. Toht also comes with a luger. The Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark toyline did well on this one. There is not too much to say about the Toht figure. Basically, 5 stars. ...[See More]

The big, the bad, and the German. The German Mechanic fits into all four categories. The figure looks the same as he does in the film, which I think is the most important. The mechanic is buff and mean. This figure can really hang with the big boys. He's green pants, no shirt, and black boots. He's bald, like in the movie and is perfect for display. The sculpt is perfect for him- muscley arms, big abs, and a bald head. Realistic. Cool. 5 stars. ...[See More]

The Marion figure is pretty good. It looks like her, but could use some detail on the face. Marion wears her white dress. Like all the other Indy toys, she is great for dioramas. Detail, detail, detail! Sallah is a great figure. Finally a well detailed figure! I really like this one. Sallah was a great character and a great figure. This guy's got lots-o-detail and just looks cool. Sallah is in his desert clothes-rags and turban and comes with a torch. He looks real enough and really makes a nice diorama. Once again, a classic example of a figure selling because of its name. Don't get me wrong, I love the toyline and the movie, but this action figure can't play with the big boys. Indiana Jones is a no detail, no fun toy. Indy's sculpt is not bad, but still no detail! Indy's clothes are okay, nothing specail. The best part is the quick draw feature. This allows Jones to quickly draw the gun and fire away. I would love this figure if it, at least, a fourth of McFarlane style detail. 2 stars- and I say this as I shake my head. I have to say, the Lost World was not the most detailed toyline. I was not totally impressed when I bought this figure, but that doesn't mean it's not good. I love the color scheme of him. He's got a dark brown shirt, and over that- the stretched out skin of a raptor head! The clothes are what really makes this what its worth. The pants are navy blue and the boots are brown. The sculpt is not bad. The head is a T-Rex Turner (previously reviewed) repaint. He comes with a light blue pachy. and an outragousley cool gun. The gun is pretty big and has a shooting action. I love this one, but I have to give 4 stars due to lack of detail. Not bad, but needs work. ...[See More]
