King Miraz
Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian (Jakks Pacific) - Power of Narnia
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
All right, time for another happy fun time review which I started writting at 11:07 Central Time! No, I'm not an insomniac, why do you ask? Some backstory on Acid Storm. Acid Storm first appeared, unnamed, along side the three other Rainmakers, who were also unnamed, in the episode "Divide and Conquer" under the command of Shockwave on Cybertron. He was promtly beaten to a pulp by the Autobots. The Hyperion3 weapons are a shout out to big name fan, Monzo aka Matthew Karpowich and his bio is partially based on him as well as he is one of the formost archivers of Transformers lore on the web. Acid Storm uses the same mold as the previous four Seeker toys and it shows a little. Some of the detail is no longer as crisp as it was on the earlier figures (Starscream, Skywarp, Dirge,...[See More]

I wish the review was more about the figure, we can find out how it transforms just by looking at the Hasbro site...

Isn't this review supposed to be about a King Miraz figure and not a Transformer?!
Overman - King Gainer
Revoltech (Kaiyodo) - Basic Series
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Tipped of on a big sale by Jin, I went to one of the stores he listed and found several Revoltech figures for sale. The Eva Unit 1 was sold out, so I went with King Gainer, impressed with the detail and design. That and Robot Dredlock. All right, on to the review. King Gainer is roughly three and a half inches tall and features the product named Revoltech style joints that were emulated in the Robot Replica sub-line of the Transformers Movie toy series. The Revoltech joint is essential two interlocked semi-circles with pegs on each of them. These are perfect for allowing interchangeable limbs and hands. King Gainer has twenty-two points of articulation and is capable of some very incredible poses by virtue of specially cut joints and the Revoltech joint that would other wise be...[See More]
Spider-Man (Cyborg)
Spider-Man (Toy Biz) - Spider-Wars
Rated 4.00 stars by Collector1
Unlike a lot of other alternate Spider-Man costumes that appear in toy form, this one actual originated in the comics first. In No-Adjitave Spider-Man issue 21, Spidey got seriously thrashed and knocked out and later found by Dethlock, Marvel's resident Cyborg-Ninja-Zombie, who stitched up his costume and created a Cable-esque powered-armor sling and eye-patch, but the missile launchers of the toy are all original Toy Biz. Anyway, enough of the history lesson and on to the toy itself. About four inches tall, Spider-Man has eleven points of articulation. The head, shoulder and hips are swivels and the elbows, knees and ankles are all hinge joints. The cyber-suit that clips on to Spidey is as wide as he is tall and has a duel missle launcher mounted on the left end and a multi-angle...[See More]
Overcast (Allspark Power)
Transformers - Movie (Hasbro) - Deluxe Class
Rated 5.00 stars by Collector1
A certifiable sociopath and sadist, Overcast has a truly inhuman body, his pseudo-face looking more like a camera lens and lacking any hands. His body is a redeco of the Dreadwing mold, recolored form white and gray to black and yellow. Overcast's alt mode is that of a MiG-29 Mikoyan "Fulcrum" fighter jet with an unsually large...thing at the bottom of it that unfolds into his legs in robot mode. Arm's too long, legs too short and chest too wide, Overcast is a very disturbing individual transformer with a single cycloptian eye mounted in the middle of his long head. His arms are in fact his vehicle modes engines, lacking hands in place of twin missle launchers that eject spring loaded, yellow plums of flame. His head is made up of his cockpit giving him a destinct Xenomorph style...[See More]
Blackarachnia
Transformers - Animated (Hasbro) - Deluxe
Rated 4.00 stars by Collector1
In a world full of G1 refrences, Blackarachnia stands alone as a Beast Wars reference. Blackarachnia, formally the Elita-1 of the Animated Universe, is an odd character. One of the most powerful Cybertronians due to here mutated state, she wishes for nothing more than to be returned to her more "pure" technological origins. Blackarachnia transforms into a massive techno-organic spider with a predominatly purple color scheme in both robot and best modes. The body takes notes from both the original Transmetals 2 Blackarachnia Beast Wars toy in the form of the helmet and from Beast Machines in which her spider-mode limbs transform into her arms and legs as well as the thorax becoming a massive, uh, postieror. Having all the standard articulation for a Deluxe Class Animated Transformer,...[See More]
Spider-Man (Super-Strength)
Amazing Spider-Man (Toy Biz) - Series 1
Rated 4.00 stars by Collector1
For a long while, I mostly avoided the now defunct Amazing Spider-Man toyline due to the packaging which really turned me off to them. Eventually, I broke down and bought the Super-Strenght Spider-Man and was suprisingly happy with the over all figure. The toy stands at about six inches and has twenty-one points of articulation. Typical of most Spider-Men action figures, his middle and forefingers are hinged to allow you to make the web-shooting gesture. The wrists, ankles, toes, and abs are all hinges. The head, shoulders, and hips are all swivel hinges. Waist, forearms, and calves are plain swivels. The knees and elbows are double hinges. All the joints are tight, but not restricting. The joints seem to be made of softer plastic, so be gentle with it when possing or in play as not to...[See More]

If you still have the package, can you check if it says anything about who sculpted it?
I have this figure and someone on the Fwoosh said it was sculpted by the Four Horsemen, so I was wondering if it was true or not, since I threw away the packaging before they posted it. Although I''m not sure if it would even say or not.

Soundwave
Transformers - Animated (Hasbro) - Deluxe
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Cold, logical, and without mercy for his former organic "masters", Soundwave stands proud among the Decepticon ranks! Soundwave uses a van altmode which resembles a custom Scion xB. His vehicle mode is about four and a half inches in length, so he can fit in the palm of your hand pretty easily. Molded from navy blue plastic with the detailing done with blue-green paint. The front windshield and driver and passenger side windows are made of dark black or blue translucent plastic, though it is more difficult to tell with the driver and passenger side windows than with the back and windshield. The Decepticon symbol is painted on the right side of his hood in bronze. The wheels are pretty standard fair for car mode Transformers. Unlike Grimlock, Soundwave's transformation is rather...[See More]
Land Military Team
Transformers - Armada (Hasbro) - Mini-Con Teams
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
The Land Military Team are the most skilled fighters and soilders ever to come out of the Minicon race. Each one of them has incredible power and a brilliant military mind to aid them and lead their allies to victory. Thankfully, they have chosen to side with the Autobots. For now at least. The Land Military Team consists of Bonecrusher, Knock Out, and Wreckage. This review will dedicate a subsection to each of these Minicon soilders, starting with Binecrusher. Bonecrusher is the strong silent type. The really strong silent type. The most he ever says is a few grunts or growls in response to a question. But Bonecrusher is not stupid, he just does not like to talk, prefering to be on a mission kicking Decepticon can. Suprisingly, Bonecrusher is actually quite gentle and caring about...[See More]
Superman (Deep Dive)
Superman - Animated Series (Kenner) - Series 1
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
I got this guy along with the quick change Superman and a hand held Star Wars video game with some birthday money I recived from my Grandparents, on my male parents side, and was able to dig this one up from the toy chest. Deep Dive Superman uses the same head sculpt as the other Superman action figures from this toy line, but a new body. Unlike the space suit action figure, Superman never used this suit in the Animated Series, but it is still pretty cool. Deep Dive Superman is five and three quaters of an inch tall and has six points of articulation with swivel jointed shoulders, hips, waist and neck. The suit is painted to look like a high tech wet suit of sorts. An air tank fits over his back and is attached by very stretch clear yellow rubber with the S-Shield painted on it which...[See More]
Commando Spawn
Spawn (McFarlane) - Series 2
Rated 4.50 stars by Collector1
Commando Spawn is loaded down with enough ammo to storm the gates of Heaven...or the Underworld as it would be. Commando Spawn comes with a rocket launcher, a shotgun like weapon, and a large knife. Commando Spawn's head gear can be flipped up or removed without damaging it to badly and the knife can be stored in a sheath on his boot. The rocket launcher is made to attach to his right arm and clip on to the gray band wrapping vertiaclly around his shoulder so it can slide on it and be held by the peg in his hand. The shotgun can be held in either hand. The knife can be held in either hand. The rocket launcher is spring loaded and can be fired by pushing a button on the back of the weapon and get a decent range from the projectile. The knife is made of hard plastic, but is not brittle...[See More]
