Help Re-Assembling a MOTUC buck!! in Custom Workstation by RMK
Updated Friday, July 19, 2019
   [Edit]
I am at my wits end doing a very basic task: heat and pop on MOTUC parts!!

I disassembled a He-Ro II and painted it up with intent to reassemble. But for the life of me, the thighs will NOT go back onto the hip pegs. I have done heat-n-pop until my hands were blistered. I have taken my dremel to the hip pegs to clean off the paint residue. I have taken a rotary bit and tried to clean out the thigh sockets to make sure residue didn't get in there either. But nothing works!

Every time I take my heat gun to the thigh and attempt to pop the peg into the socket, it refuses to go in. The peg compresses and sticks for a moment, but then pushes the thigh piece right back off. I have been stuck at this step for 2 weeks and it just makes no sense, ...[See More]

Can you heat the hip piece and stretch that peg, then cool it so it stays stretched? Then youd heat the thigh and pop it on as usual, and once in there, heat everything so the hip peg goes back to normal.
Looking for MARVEL TOY BIZ accessories in Trading Post by bbblackwell

   [Edit]
Hi! Does anyone know where I can find loose accessories for Marvel Toy Biz figures? Specifically, the part I need right now is the brown weapon belt for Longshot (pictured), but I'd also like to find a good source for these parts going forward.

Much obliged!

Thank you. If worse comes to worse I'd have to buy the figure again, but I already bought this one (not realizing it was incomplete) and I'm hoping to hunt down the belt alone, if possible.

My best guess is eBay but they tend to be quite expensive. (like Dr. Strange's crystal ball for 13$) But if you really can't find the accessory I recommend buying the complete figure.

How do companies print onto action figures? in Custom Workstation by Juggernaut Customs

Hello All!

I thought this would be an easy question to Google.

“How can I print onto action figures?”
Turns out, I can’t find it anywhere.

Kudos to anyone that can find the answer to this! This could take customizing to the next level! If you can afford it.

Searched everywhere and maybe I’m just using the wrong terminology. All I come up with our endless results for 3-D printing. But I do not want to 3-D print. I want to know how to take an existing action figure, print onto the figure instead of having to paint it, and it turns out, I can’t find it.

I understand it would require a special printer that would likely be incredibly unaffordable. But I would still like to know just for the knowledge side and who knows, maybe one day ge...[See More]

For detailed small logo, fonts, graphics patterns on action figure you may try decal sheet printed with colored laser printer or desktop that uses waterproof pigment ink. Cut the printed image, soaked in water and apply it on the part of the action figure. Apply glossy or Matt top clear to protect it.😀

Well this is why a lot of figures have stickers. All I know is that before computer stuff, sometimes things like small logos or say a shirt design were screenprinted right onto the figure. Like with a t-shirt screen printing frame, only much more smaller. The other way big companies print onto figures is with a rubber stamp-like machine that comes down with a pliable inked head and presses the image onto the figure, sometimes in conjunction with the screen, sometimes not. There's ink feed behind the stamp so it can keep on going for lots of figures. The stamp is very soft and shapes around the figure (to a limited degree) and conforms to the shape. But it's limited how much wraparound it has. It's usually done before the figure is fully assembled so they can do any coloring to both the fro ...

I've inherited some of my brother-in-laws batman toys. I've been able to find information (thanks to this site) on most of the other ones. But I can't find anything about this Nightwing. It's made in china, tm & copyright 1998, and labeled DC Comics. It's about 5" tall. Any help would be great!
