You can actually do a lot of small detail work if you have a detail airbrush (ie Sotor 20/20) as well. Silly putty/frisket film/etc can help with small details also.

You can airbrush over small areas as well, it's just a matter of how much time you want to spend masking the area. There are also detailed airbrushes out there. For example, I use Badger Patriot 105 to do my big areas/ basecoat and then I use my Badger Sotor 20/20 for detailing like eyes and mouth areas

I will second LuvNidleness, and spend the money on quality stuff. I had a cheap compressor when I started out and couldn't even control the PSI, after it died, I got one that I could that was a little more expense and it makes a world of difference. Now when that one dies, I will probably get one that has a large tank on it so I can spray when my daughter is sleeping.

Same with the brushes, there is not a whole lot more to spend between a cheap brush and an expensive one. The expen ...

How to attach pin joint legs to ball joint crotch? in Custom Workstation by Lizardman

They're Evangelion legs and they'll look great on the Marvel Legends custom I'm making, but I'm not sure the best way to attach. If I dremel into the leg to make ball joint hole, ill have to cut from the top of the leg so it can fit onto the crotch. I thought about using wire to wrap the ball and slide into the leg hole, then I guess clay around it, but don't know if that's dumb.

Yknow, I didn't have notifications set for this site and I only get on here every once in a while, so I never even saw this. I wound up getting another Beetle cheap and cutting the legs high above the knee to match the angle of the new legs. You can see what it turned into on my profile.

Hi! After getting the World's Finest Superman with the lion head, I'm wanting to put together a troupe of transformed heroes. I'd really like the Were-Bat from World's Finest #258, but they never released a figure.
I know I could get ManBat and go from there, but that would involve creating the whole Bat suit over him. What I'm planning is to get the Vampire Batman and sculpt big bat ears and some fur. What I'd like to know is, has anybody done this, or do you know what hands and feet would work for this? Exactly! Sculpt or modify an existing head. I think Fisto could serve as a basis. There are a number of additional things I'd love to do to make it a complete package. I'm testing the waters to see just how possible this idea is.

There's a few color variants missing from the Mighty Max playset checklist, and one entire playset, a Doom Zone called Mighty Max Extinguishes the Fire Alien. First up:

Doom Zone Color Variants: Two playsets that I know of had distinct color variants:

1. Terminates Wolfship 7 - Silver exterior with green wings and engines and a blue interior. The figures of Lord Lupor and the Lieutenant were colored black instead of blue. Apparently it was only available in a three-pack called Triple Horror with the Horror Heads Lava Beast and Kronosaur. Pic: [Picture] I'd add this set under its three-pack's name.
