Hi I'm very new to customizing I've never customized a figure before so bear with me

I'm planning on making a custom cloth cape for the marvel legends jane foster thor and I thought about cutting off that plastic waist skirt thingy and replacing that with cloth too

I reccomend cutting of the front skirt, but keeping the belt section intact. You don't have to remove the legs, heat up the torso and then remove it from the waist. Before you go any further though I highly reccommend looking at all the tutorials we have on this site. They'll give you all the info you need to work on a custom.

I remember that rule too but rarely saw it enforced, I was probably the only one doing it. Stuff like telling people to stop "watermarking" their pictures with all their contact info, etc.

I stopped caring eventually.

The Custom Showcase is supposed to be exactly that, like an art gallery that focuses on the figures, where people can also interact with the customizers via comments. Having a bunch of self-promotion and youtube links on the same page and whatever cheapens that I think. You can put all that stuff in your profile though. ...
