Heir to the Dragon Lineage, Ryu Hayabusa has devoted his life to fighting evil, and protecting his clan. His village, hidden among the mountains of Japan has long guarded many precious artifacts vital in the war against evil. Ryu holds their most precious treasure the legendary Dragon Sword. Carved form the fang of a Dragon, this sword hungers for the blood of Fiends. In the right hands, it is considered one of the most powerful weapons in existence. However, Hayabusa Village's most dangerous and dreaded artifact is the Demon Statue. Though the details are lots to legend the Demon Statue helped seal on of the Archfiends within an earthly prison and banished his four Greater Fiends to eternal slumber. Recently, rumors have come to Ryu that the Demon Statue is under threat. Ryu must now guard the relic with his life, or face the wrath of the Archfiend unleased.
