Thousands of years ago, in ancient Egypt, a man named Teth-Adam was chosen by the wizard Shazam to receive great powers and become the champion of his people. But when he turned evil, he was stripped of his powers. Millennia later, a man named Theo Adam acquired the power of Black Adam and became Captain Marvel’s deadly foe until reforming and becoming a member of the new Justice Society of America.
