Soranik Natu is a surgeon from planet Korugar who was chosen to be a Green Lantern. She was reluctant at first, given the bad experiences Korugar had with its Green Lanterns (Sinestro's dictatorship, and Katma Tui leaving for Earth), but she eventually accepted her role as such.
