A synthetic being created by human scientists called "The Enclave" to become their ideal template for a new race of humans who would one day rule the Earth. But the fantastic four investigates and he breaks free, is saved by Uatu The Watcher. He tries to make sif his mate, fails, and wanders off into space as a cocoon. The High Evolutionary finds the being called "him" and gives him his now known name Adam (for being the first of his kind), Warlock (because men would fear his power), and gives him the Soul gem. Defending the universe from menaces such as Thanos, Adam Warlock has become a hero on Earth and throughout the galaxy.
