Powers:	Iron Monger Armor is highly resistant to damage, armed to the teeth: Jet Boots: powered turbines, which compress ambient air into incandescence to generate thrust, enabling the Iron Monger to fly. Repulsors: The Iron Monger armor contained particle beam emission units ("repulsor rays") that could project tremendous concussive force. Chest Laser: An intense laser beam, capable of vaporizing metal within seconds, could be projected from a unit mounted upon the chest of the Iron Monger battlesuit.

Obadiah Stane was a ruthless businessman who took over Stark International, renaming it Stane International. When Stane found out that Tony Stark was creating a new company from scratch, he got bitter and went after Stark, donning a suit of armor under the name Iron Monger. After Iron Man defeated Iron Monger and got evidence of his corrupt activities, Stane killed himself instead of facing justice.
