Being a full-blooded Apache Indian and the son of a famous Hollywood stunt man, Altitude had a lot to live up to. Altitude was gifted with both a photographic memory and a talent for drawing. After his budding artistic career in the animation industry was shortened by the collapse of syndicated cartoon programming, he decided to embark on a new career in the military. He's the first G. I. Joe ever to combine two totally different specialties–reconnaissance and combat artistry–and make them work.
