Pretty cool figure, though it's not the best likeness. And his hair is waaaaay longer than in the movie. I might trim the hair on mine.

It's actually 7.5 inches, by the way.

The belt is hideously ugly. The rest of the costume is actually pretty cool. Has knee movement, but no elbow joints, which bothers me. I give this figure 2 out of 5 stars.

Don't know if it's true, but I saw something posted that claims there were only about 1000 of these figures that were released.

I own this figure and think it looks better presentation wise than the SDCC "bagged" version. Also, these are signed by Barbra Luna under the plastic bubble so you don't have to worry about it fading or rubbing off. I don't think the SDCC came with a signature.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the only Star Trek figure(s) that have the type 1 phaser/laser pistols. Not even the boxed Captain Kirk SDCC wave one figure has this type of pistol. It's funny because that figure does have the rifle that was used in this episode but the wrong phaser pistol. I once saw a picture of a Sulu action figure in blue uniform that was based on this episode but I don't think the pistol with that figure was a type 1 either.
