Essentially this figure is the same basic figure as far as pose, accessories, and paint apps as the Apollo figure. The two main obvious differences are the head sculpt/hair color, and mirror image pose (reversed because Apollo is left handed and Starbuck is right handed). Other than that, the open jacket of Starbuck is the only real change to the figure. However that change is not only appropriate to the character, but really sets it apart. The added detail to the shirt collar and added color really stand out. This open coat also gives the figure a feel of flow that seems to imply a more active presents. It just seems more action like and thus is in my opinion the stronger of the two.
This figure is almost identical to the first wave "Warrior" with of course the obvious color change for the "Commander". However as noted previously all wave 2 figures all came with stands which greatly enhances the stability for loose display. One personal note. I've had my loose displays in a glass case out of direct sunlight for some time, and have noticed that from a distance the Gold color doesn't appear very distinctive. In fact you can't really tell the difference from the two variants until you get up close and even then you have to pay real attention to the details. It appears that the "vac-metal" armor pieces have faded to the point where its shiny surface almost looks silver. However if you place the two figures side by side with a dark background you can then see the difference, albeit slight. Of course the other gold painted surfaces of the figure (legs, skirt, sword case) are much more distinct and don't seem to have faded any.
Hello, I’m not very familiar with this site format but I would love if you messaged me regarding the Galaxy Heroes. I have 3 sealed action figures and I really want to learn more about them
It would be awesome if you guys could also include the different cardbacks that came with each figure. I know alone this April has more than just a 10 back card. Thanks
