I have what looks like a Soldiers of the World Civil War Lt. Col - Artillery character, but mine is clean shaven, no beard. The uniform and accessories match, but the character is different. Did these come in different facial features?

I have one of these no spots variations.. Why they are painted differently? Are they repainted or playmates released them like that? And most importantly, are they rare?

As I understand, they are modern china replicas of Playmates figures. But I may be wrong though. But I may tell for sure - they are not rare at all.

An absolutely gorgeous figure, one of my favorites all these years later. I have no idea how they could afford to sell it for the price they did with that magnificent paint job. A new more poseable version of this figure came out in 2021 but the paint app is not even remotely up to this standard.

Another great MFT Monsters playset, even though I don't really love the two-headed monster. A Bride would have been better. This set and the Frankenstein's Monster playset from the first wave can be connected to create a super-laboratory! Both of these come with a lot of accessories like operating tools, bookshelves and brains that work great for other figures in that scale, such as Remco Monsters or ReAction. Fun fact, the sculptor rendered himself as Dr. Frankenstein.

One of the very best looking werewolf figures out there at the time, and probably still so. You can rip that dopey looking hunter limb from limb, what fun! I broke the bone-shaped plug in his arm, I did it so much on mine.

Loved, loved, loved this and all of the other McFarlane mini monster playsets(Except Hunchback, which never appealed to me). They were on my dresser for most of my teenage years, and often make a reappearance in my living room for Halloween. It's a small set but packs in a lot:

Dracula with removable cape
Bat-creature figure
Hinged coffin
Rotating tombstone transformation gimmick, turn Dracula into the bat
Axe and a stake, which you can put in Dracula's heart
Crutch
Spawn - Series 7
Released in 1996 by McFarlane

This guy looks like a Playmates TMNT figure, he even comes with a pet. According to the bio, this mumbling weed wacker guy with missing limbs is the Joker to Spawn's Batman. I didn't read the comics when I was collecting these, I'm guessing he's not actually canon?
Spider-Man (Vampire)
Spider-Man - Vampire Wars
Released in 1996 by Toy Biz

Wow, this figure. He ugly. Looks like they were trying to do a McFarlane type thing here.

I dig the classic look and multiple element arms (metal, stone & wood) he comes with!
