Long ago, Elrond helped lead a victorious army of elves and men in a war against Sauron and his servants. Elrond later established Rivendell as a haven for the elves against Sauron - and through time grew to be a powerful Elf Lord. Yet Elrond always knew that Sauron would be back to search for his Ring. And now that the One Ring has been found, Elrond helped form a Fellowship of nine to destroy it before Sauron recovers it and enslaves Middle-earth.
I have mixed feelings about this particular figure. The detail is there with a decent likeness but the articulation is inhibited by the action feature of a sword slash, it's great we get a prologue Elrond figure as well as his council robes but I actually prefer the council of Elrond figure. The sword can be given to Arwen as she uses the same sword, not sure why she doesn't have her own sword and just has her father's but that's how they did it in the movie. So overall this figure leaves much to be desired specifically better articulation as there isn't much posability for what you get....[See More]
