This version of Ares is a monstrous, shadowy figure clad in ornate blue armor, boots gauntlets, a horn-studded helmet and a floor-length blue cape; Ares is equipped with a silver sword and a silver axe. Befitting his godhood, Ares boasts nearly indestructible armor and is imbued with vast strength. Ares wields mastery over any type of weapon, and is adept at instigating war without revealing his true presence. His powers allow him to alter his physical substance into any form he chooses.
Ares.... going in alphabetical order probably the finest figure in the series though obscure to my DC repertoire. The pitted chased armor and the super detailed armor on the arms and legs makes this the top dog in Wave 4. As much work that went into this incarnation, it would be pretty hard to screw up. I say Kudos to Mattel and the 4 horsemen on the detail and concentration that obviously went into this figure.. hold on to your hats though, its gonna get ugly once I start getting into the rest of what I have found so far with Wave 4.... whew-E its gonna be a roaster....[See More]
